The American Kennel Club’s Canine Good Citizen® program evaluates ten practical skills. It gives owners a structured opportunity to demonstrate their dog’s manners with an AKC-approved CGC evaluator.
Chase and Makenzi Nobles are both AKC-approved CGC evaluators. At ARK DOG, foundation work comes first. Ask us whether your dog is ready for evaluation or would benefit from preparation through our obedience and life-skills training.
Prepare with a purpose.
We can discuss the dog’s current skills, the owner’s handling confidence and how the dog works around everyday distractions. Preparation should develop useful habits, rather than only rehearse a test.
Completion of a training program does not guarantee a passing evaluation. Testing is a separate assessment under the applicable AKC program requirements.
