ARK DOG · Relationship before expectation

A better beginning for your puppy.

Choose the level of help your puppy—and your household—needs. Our premium Puppy Board & Train leads the way, with hands-on Owner Train and guided virtual coaching alongside it.

A strong foundation. The right level of support.

The early months shape how your puppy experiences home, people and the world. We build communication, useful routines and confidence through thoughtful, age-appropriate development.

The difference between our programs is how much of that work your trainer takes on. All three require your involvement, but they offer different levels of professional training and day-to-day support.

Puppy Board & Train

For the most comprehensive trainer-led start, choose Puppy Board & Train. Your puppy lives and trains in a trainer’s home, with a small number of dogs and individualized attention woven into daily life.

Direct professional handling, consistent timing and repeated practice give us more opportunity to develop your puppy’s skills than coaching you remotely alone. It is our strongest option for owners who want us to take the lead on building that foundation.

For Board & Train, owners typically come to the trainer for regular owner sessions, drop-off and pickup. Some Board & Train owner sessions may also take place at your home or in public, depending on the training plan. You meet and work with your trainer and puppy throughout the program. We teach you how to carry the progress home; your role begins during training, not just at pickup.

Your puppy’s age, temperament and development guide the plan. We discuss goals, participation, availability and individualized pricing during consultation.

Owner Train: hands-on help, with you doing the training.

Want a trainer beside you while you learn? We typically travel to you for Owner Train. The first few sessions are usually in your home to prepare your puppy and establish the foundations, with public-space sessions typically introduced toward the end of the program as you and your puppy are ready. Weekly hands-on coaching develops your handling skills and your puppy’s foundation together. You practice at home between sessions, then return for demonstrations, feedback and the next steps.

This is a good route when you want direct, in-person guidance while keeping your puppy at home. We discuss your location, scheduling, any applicable mileage and your training plan during consultation.
