We typically come to you.

For hands-on Owner Train and other client-based training, we typically travel to your location. Board & Train is the usual exception: owners typically come to the trainer for the program’s owner sessions, drop-off and pickup. Some Board & Train owner sessions may also take place at your home or in public, depending on the training plan.

We confirm the meeting location, schedule and any applicable mileage with you before training begins.

Work with the owners.

Chase and Makenzi co-own and run Arkhein K9 LLC. Chase is the lead trainer, and both are CGC evaluators. They cover Abilene as part of their work across West Texas.

We do not currently have an Abilene contractor. When you apply, we’ll discuss who will work with you, where sessions will happen and any travel involved.

Plan for your part in the progress.

Whether you need puppy development, everyday obedience or help understanding a behavior concern, your training plan includes you. Tell us which household members will participate and your availability for sessions.

For Board & Train, owner sessions take place throughout the program, not only at pickup. For Owner Train, you practice between hands-on weekly appointments. We’ll help you choose a format you can follow through with.

A young puppy—or a more complex concern?

Our premium Puppy Board & Train provides daily professional training to develop a strong foundation. Virtual puppy coaching is a separate, owner-led $800 option for puppies under six months.

If your concern involves fear, reactivity, guarding or aggression, tell us about it in the general application. The virtual puppy program does not include behavior modification; those needs call for an individual assessment.

Complete the application so we can understand your dog, your household and your goals. Most clients begin with a $75 virtual consultation. In-person consultations are $120 plus applicable mileage. This is an assessment and program-design conversation; normal training plans and prices are customized afterward.
